A Conversation with the Honorable Judge Amy Totenberg

 

Amy Totenberg is a long-standing member of Atlanta’s public interest community.  Since beginning her legal career in Atlanta, she has defended and advocated for vulnerable individuals throughout Georgia.  Prior to joining the federal bench in 2011, Judge Totenberg worked as a partner at The Law Project, a solo practitioner, a pro hac vice judge in the Atlanta Municipal Court, and a general counsel.  She also served as a special master and court monitor in multiple federal class action law suits involving public schools in Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  Judge Totenberg is also an experienced arbitrator and mediator.  Finally, Judge Totenberg taught as an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law from 2004 until 2007.

 

This event is open to Public Interest Law Section Members only.

 

There is no cost to attend, but attendance is limited to the first 15 Public Interest Law Section members that register.  Each participant is responsible for his/her own food and beverage.

Recurring Meeting date

The Public Interest Law board meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month through May at 12 noon.

The meetings are open to all section members.
