Marketing & Communications
The primary responsibility of the Marketing and Communications position is to assist the Executive Director, CLE Director and Sections Director with activities and communications, along with producing marketing materials for the Atlanta Bar. This includes bar-wide blasts, website development and maintenance and distribution of other communication pieces. In addition to design and communication skills, this position requires strong organizational, time management and writing skills. Candidates must have good presentation and interpersonal communication, and will serve as an ambassador of the Atlanta Bar Association. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Create and distribute blast emails and other digital promotions for all for Association and
   Foundation events, projects and activities
Maintain and update Atlanta Bar and Foundation social media platforms—including Facebook,  
   Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
Create and update marketing templates for all section events and section newsletters
Publicize and distribute all Association and Foundation events to local press
Perform data entry tasks, such as creating online registration, exporting distribution lists, etc.
Attend and manage Association, CLE, and Section meeting and events as assigned
Work effectively as a team member to realize strategic objectives

The ability to multi-task is essential. Early morning and nighttime events are involved; personal transportation and a flexible scheduled is required.

Required Skills

Basic HTML coding and website maintenance, Microsoft Office, Experience in email marketing platforms and CRM software; Ability to work under pressure with a team and independently. Writing sample required.

Adobe Creative Suite Experience
   
Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree; Five years of marketing/communication experience

Registration and Program Support


The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Director and the Sections Coordinator with their duties. This position requires strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Candidates must have good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, and will serve as an ambassador of the Atlanta Bar Association. The duties of this administrative position include, but are not limited to, the following:


• Execute registration, payment and deposit transactions for all Association events, including teleseminars, breakfast, lunch and nighttime CLE and Section events

• Perform auxiliary tasks for events, such as preparation of name tags, rosters and attendance sheets, etc.
• Perform data entry tasks, as well as other clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing and scanning
• Attend and manage CLE, and Section meetings as assigned.
• Work to ensure positive experiences for members and guests at association and program events.
• Work effectively as a team member to realize strategic objectives
• Participate in other special projects of the Association and execute duties as directed.

Required Skills

Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel

 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor Degree preferred; Associate Degree required; two years of administrative experience
