Year 0 - Year 3 = $125 (admitted between June 1, 2011 - May 31, 2015)
Year 4 - Year 8 = $195 (admitted between June 1, 2006 - May 31, 2011)
Over 8 Years = $245 (admitted prior to May 31, 2006)
Government/Public Service/GA law school faculty members: Lawyers who are employed full time in Government positions or with public service such as Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc., Georgia Legal Services Program, and faculty of Georgia law schools.
Year 0 - Year 3 = $50 (admitted between June 1, 2011 - May 31, 2015)
Year 4 - Year 8 = $75 (admitted between June 1, 2006- May 31, 2011)
Over 8 Years = $100 (admitted prior to May 31, 2006)
Associate Member: $100
For lawyers who have been admitted to practice in Georgia but are not actively practicing in the 12 Metro Atlanta counties (see list below); or for lawyers who have not been admitted to practice in Georgia but have been admitted in another state (including the District of Columbia). The 12 Metro Atlanta Counties for the Atlanta Bar Association membership are: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding or Rockdale. Student Member: While enrolled in law school, students are eligible for free membership in the Atlanta Bar Association, as well as free membership in up to four Sections. Students may join additional Sections at regular dues. All law students or any law school graduate awaiting admission to the Bar, provided such person has not exceeded his or her second anniversary of graduation.
Affiliate Member: $50
Legal Assistants, court and calendar clerks, legal administrators, employees of the corporation, legal support staff and mediators registered with the State Bar of Georgia Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution. As a condition of their membership, non-lawyer affiliate members must, when describing or referring in any way to their relationship with the Association, specifically disclose their status as "Non-Lawyer Affiliate Member".
